Business Advisory Board

Existing and prospective  businesses  in the Sugarcreek area now have a new resource on which they can lean – the Sugarcreek Business Association’s Business Advisory Board.

This is a free service to SBA member businesses and to prospective businesses considering locating in or around Sugarcreek.

The board is comprised of the following volunteers: attorneys Doug Frautschy and Mike Warkall, businessmen John Miller and Dustin Miller, and a certified public accountant whose practice is based around small business, Mark Fearon.

These five-members represent an expertise ranging from legal issues, tax consequences and business planning to marketing and business development.

The board will meet by appointment only. All information shared will be kept confidential. For more information or to schedule an appointment contact Fearon by phone at 330-308-6894 or e-mail at: Mark.Fearon@reacpa.com.  Note: this panel requires a two-week lead time so that the professionals involved can coordinate their schedules.

In addition, the Business Advisory Board has agreements in place with Sugarcreek’s Village Administrator, the Tuscarawas County Port Authority and the Kent State University Small Business Development Center, should prospective businesses or specific situations require more assistance than the SBA’s Business Advisory Board can provide.

The Sugarcreek Business Association is comprised of nearly 140 businesses in and around the Sugarcreek area.  Its mission is to promote, enhance and benefit the businesses, professionals and community of Sugarcreek.
